Audlem A have capped a remarkable season by being crowned champions of the South Cheshire Bowling League - a triumph built on consistency, teamwork, and inspired leadership.

Audlem Bowling Club is proud to announce that Audlem A have been crowned champions of the South Cheshire Bowling League, completing a superb season with silverware and celebration.

The title was secured through remarkable consistency and high scoring across the campaign. With 12 wins from 16 matches and a league-best total of 2,432 points, Audlem A proved that every point truly matters. Although Crewe Bowling Club A achieved an impressive 15 wins, it was Audlem’s ability to keep the scoreboard ticking that ultimately saw them take the top spot. Barony Park matched Audlem’s win record but finished more than 100 points adrift — a clear sign of the strength and depth within the Audlem squad.

A huge part of this success can be credited to the outstanding leadership of Captain Sue Condrey, who led from the front both on and off the green. Her composure and determination set the tone for the team, while her strategic recruitment of experienced new players for the Saturday team added invaluable depth and resilience. This blend of established club members and fresh talent proved to be the winning formula.

Every member of the team played their part in this achievement. Whether battling through tight contests or cruising to dominant victories, Audlem A consistently found ways to build their points tally and keep momentum on their side.
