Founded in 1948, Audlem Bowling Club has been at the heart of village life for over 75 years. From its early days as a small local green to today’s thriving hub of Crown Green Bowling in Cheshire, the club has built a proud reputation for sporting achievement, friendship, and community spirit.
Our beautifully maintained green, welcoming clubhouse, and dedicated members make Audlem Bowling Club a special place to play, compete, and socialise. Whether you’re an experienced bowler or a complete beginner, you’ll always find a warm welcome here.
Crown Green Bowling in the Heart of Audlem
Located within the Audlem Playing Field complex on Whitchurch Road, the club offers excellent facilities for players of all ages and abilities. Our aim is simple: to promote participation, enjoyment, and teamwork — values that have guided us since the club’s formation.
We proudly field 14 competitive teams across multiple leagues, including:

Market Drayton Leagues
Market Drayton Seniors
Barlows Seniors
South Cheshire Leagues
Plus social and friendly teams for members who prefer relaxed games and good company.
Whether you’re a keen competitor or a casual player, there’s always an opportunity to enjoy the game in a friendly, supportive environment.
An Award-Winning Setting
Our club is renowned for its picturesque green and gardens, maintained in partnership with Audlem in Bloom. Together, we achieved the Royal Horticultural Society North West in Bloom “Level 5 – Outstanding” Award, celebrating our commitment to maintaining one of the most attractive bowling environments in the region.
This recognition reflects not only the dedication of our members but also the community’s shared pride in creating a welcoming, beautiful space for all to enjoy.
Community at Our Core

A 2025 LED floodlighting upgrade, providing energy efficiency and extended playing hours.
